Our Services

We specialise in support coordination services for children and young adults with ASD, psychosocial and physical disabilities. While most of our clients have NDIS plans (NDIS participants), we can also work with clients in a private capacity.

When new participants first receive their NDIS plan, they often find NDIS funding policy confusing, and struggle to understand how services are categorised and how, exactly, they can use their funding. A Support Coordinator can work with participants to explain how best to use their funding, work towards their goals and to help them better understand the NDIS and their plan. A support coordinator can support participants for the duration of their plan, as a check-in person to help navigate new and changing policy, and or find supports that match a participant's goals and expectations. We will also coordinate the NDIS required reporting from your supports. Our aim is always to work closely with our participants (and where necessary their family) to find the best people to help them fulfil their needs.

We come to you!

Spectrum Support Coordination is a mobile service which means we can spend time working with you at home, or sometimes if you'd like to get out and have a coffee or a walk in the park while we talk, we can do that too. We deliver a personal service, getting to know you, and what you need is our priority. We are set up to be flexible and creative in how we work with you. We know that people who are managing a disability in their home are often time poor and can become overwhelmed with so many people involved, so let us make it easy for you.

Non NDIS Supports - Support Coordinator can help you with this too

Many participants will require supports through the ‘mainstream’ during their plan. This means that they are supports that are not paid for with your NDIS funding. Mainstream supports might include being helped to link in to :

  • Educational Supports

  • The Justice system

  • The health system

  • DFFS / Homelessness services and/or support with new or current Child Protection involvement
